i'm not a big fan of fotoreferences, but it is a very cool picture. i like the way you've drawn hair. also the shades on the face are very nice. one thing that bothers me is the hand. i think, that the dark area should be darker. a way darker than it is. great picture (i love you)

Good job! I do agree that mabey a little more shading on the hand would help. And who cares if you used photo reference as long as it was freehanded and not traced, it's a portrait, i mean how else are you supposed to know what he looks like. Again GOOD JOB!
